Primary research: Customer research:

While walking through Brighton Lanes I took some photos of where my customer may live and where they would shop. This first image is of the beautiful houses in the lanes. I'm not sure if my customer would be able to afford this type of house but it would be a great location for them.

The Prince Albert pub is right near the train station so it is easily accessible. It has many different bands playing and is right near the Green Door Store. My customer is very likely to go here to socialise. Below you will see a photo of the poster I took outside the pub, which is promoting an open mic night they are hosting.

Throughout all of the lanes there are many different record stores. I really like this as it shows that Brighton are still accepting the old vinyl record. Musicians will be very interested in this shop and will go here to find new or old music they can listen to uniquely or they may even go here to buy collectables.

Sassy is a unique and individual store that isn't in the mainstream high street fashion industry. Sassy caters for men and women who may dress uniquely and don't follow the high street trends. As you can see this shop has a sale on at the moment, which will draw customers in as they may find a bargain. I think my customer may shop here, especially looking at my female customer.

Many of my customers may have an interest in tattooing. Not because it is in trend but because it is a way of expressing themselves creatively, and my customers are creative.

Finally, the main musicians I am targeting my agency at will most likely own a guitar or have an interest in playing a musical instrument. The music that really attracts me is acoustic, the way a guitar sounds against a vocal is amazing.

Brighton is a great city for my agency to be based in because of the social atmosphere. Musicians are everywhere and have an effect of the city. There are university and college courses that attract musicians to Brighton every year. Therefore, my agency will always have customers in Brighton.
