Primary research: Leaflets from Brighton

To do primary research of my customer, I walked through the lanes of Brighton to find out what my customer would be interested in. I came across many different leaflets and posters that were directed towards my consumer. This helped me find out what type of music was around Brighton. Below are many different scanned in leaflets that are aimed at the musical taste.

Indie disco - every Tuesday. My main target consumer will be into Indie music.

The Green Door Store is a great venue to hear the latest new music bands at the same time as socialising with friends, my customer would go to a place like this to enjoy themselves much more than going out to a club.

Funfair club is a new and different club with amazing decoration inside, which sticks to the theme of their name. My customer would enjoy a night out at a club but I don't think it would be their first choice.

Above are different leaflets that I found in shops like Beyond Retro and the Green Door Store, all of the pages you see above and in the music section, with different events and reviews on new music that people may want to listen to. This is a great way to find new music, however these days many people go to the Internet to resource things now so if my concept had a website and promoted new bands on it, hopefully fans would listen to their music and find out where they are next playing on here.

It was a success walking through Brighton Lanes to find many different posters and leaflets that you could look through. Brighton is renowned for a music city so this is definitely a great place to start my agency.
