Inspiration: Styling:

Styling is one of my services that I will be providing with a styling team. I think this is a good service because many musicians wont think about what they should wear at specific events or photo-shoots. I am bringing things I have learnt from my fashion degree and putting it to good use. There are many free-lance stylists in the music industry but none that will help clients in a small business, especially looking at upcoming bands/artists.

While interning at Rich London PR I gained knowledge on mens style and brands they liked. Many musicians came in and borrowed clothing from us, including Disclosure and Robbie Williams. Rich London PR is a menswear PR company but they specialise in catering for musicians. They now have a huge client list with artists like Plan B as one of their most loyal. While looking at styling I have used brands that I worked with at Rich London PR as many of them are very suited to a musical taste:

Humor

Champion

Known

All of these brands have a t-shirt, baggy trousers theme to it. Champion are now rebranding to a different more alternative audience. Known is a very cool brand that I know many musicians will like.

For women, styling becomes harder because there are so many options out there. Asos is a great place to look for styles and clothing because they are an online store and have some affordable prices. Keeping my target customer in mind, they will most probably shop online here. Asos is also aimed at both genders so I can look for my male customers here too. Topshop is such a well known brand now, shopping here is easy, through the many styles and trends they cater for. As every musician is different, styling from Topshop would be my bases to find clothing that matches every individual.
